Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Nodiom Cloud collects, why, and who we share it with. Nodiom Cloud is operated by Synexiom Labs Inc. ("Synexiom Labs," "we," "us").

• Account information — your email address and authentication identity, handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.
• Billing information — handled by Stripe, our payment processor. We receive your subscription status and billing history; Stripe holds your full card details, not us.
• Your documents — the Markdown content you create, read, and edit through Nodiom Cloud's API or dashboard.
• API keys — we store only a one-way hash of each key, never the raw value, after the moment it's first shown to you.
• Usage data — for each call: which tool, when, which API key and which document it addressed, how long it took, whether it changed anything, and how long it waited for another writer. Used to enforce plan limits, calculate billing and understand how the service is used. This log records metadata, never your document content.
• Product events — actions such as signing up (including the link or campaign that brought you, if any), creating a workspace, board or API key, inviting someone, starting a trial or subscribing. Stored in our own database; never document content, and never shared with advertising or analytics companies.
• Connected AI apps — when you connect an app such as Claude or ChatGPT, it signs in through Nodiom and you approve it for one workspace. We receive the requests it makes to that workspace: the documents and cards it reads and writes on your behalf. We don't receive your conversations with the app. The connection appears on the workspace's API keys page, where you can disconnect it at any time.
• Notifications — if you turn on review alerts, we send board names, card titles and links by email, or to the Slack or Discord channels you connect.

To operate the service: authenticate you, store and serve your documents, enforce plan limits, calculate billing, and respond if you contact us for support. We also analyse usage data and product events, in aggregate, to improve the product and to set our pricing. We don't use your document content to train machine learning models, and we don't sell your data to anyone.

We share data with the infrastructure providers that operate Nodiom Cloud, and no one else:

• Clerk — authentication
• Stripe — payment processing and billing
• Railway — database hosting (your account data and documents are stored in Postgres here)
• Vercel — application hosting, and page-view counts for our website and dashboard (Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies)
• Resend — sending email (review alerts and account emails)
• Slack and Discord — only the channels you connect yourself, for the alerts you turn on

Apart from Vercel's cookie-free page-view counts, we don't use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Synexiom Labs or others.

We use the session cookie set by Clerk to keep you signed in. We don't set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We retain your account and document data for as long as your account is active. Deleting a document removes it immediately. If you close your account, we delete your account data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain billing records for legal or tax purposes.

Connections to Nodiom Cloud are encrypted in transit. API keys are stored hashed, never in plaintext. Documents are stored per-account with database-level access controls (row-level security) so that one account's data isn't reachable from another's.

You can access, export, or delete your documents at any time from your dashboard or via the API. To delete your account entirely, or for any other privacy request, email dev@synexiomlabs.com.

Nodiom Cloud isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and notify you directly for material changes.
